INNOVATIVE TOPGOLF CONCEPT CONTINUES TO SCORE HIGH WITH FANS
Chicago-Based Entertainment Company Will Open Biggest Site Yet in Dallas Market, Expand Wood Dale Facility in 2011
Wood Dale, IL (January 20, 2011) –TopGolf, the entertainment complex that combines advanced technology with traditional golf, saw U.S. revenues increase 9.2% in 2010, and an equally impressive 7.2% increase in total visitors across its three current U.S. sites in Chicago (suburban Wood Dale), Dallas and Alexandria. Building on strong financials, TopGolf is set to open its fourth U.S. location, in the Village of Allen, Texas, located just 20 miles from Dallas. TopGolf Allen will be the largest TopGolf facility yet, with an expansive array of new technologies and game offerings to serve upwards of 5,000 guests per week.

Located at 1500 Allen Station Parkway, the new 65,000 square foot TopGolf Allen facility will boast a triple-decker tee line featuring 94 hitting bays, 5,000 square feet of private event space, a rooftop lounge terrace, and a full service bar and restaurant. TopGolf Allen will also feature next generation touch screen game monitors and LCD TV’s in each hitting bay.
TopGolf is also expanding its highly successful Wood Dale, IL entertainment complex, situated about 20 miles west of Chicago. “There’s been overwhelming demand for more event space,” said TopGolf’s Chief Development Officer, Randy Starr. “We’ve listened to our guests and event hosts, and are currently in the midst of a $250,000 renovation that will double our capacity for corporate bookings and private events.”
The new space will hold up to 200 visitors for a cocktail reception, or seat approximately 80 for an intimate meeting or conference. The upscale addition will house a 72’ LCD television with significant A/V capabilities, and also feature eight private hitting bays.
TopGolf is an innovative entertainment facility that uses computer microchips embedded in regulation golf balls to create an interactive game for both the hard-core and first-time golfers. The state-of-the-art software includes several computer-assisted golf games in which players get points by hitting targets.
